Located in the heart of Swansea, our Fforesrfach (Cwmdu) location offers a nurturing and flexible childcare environment for children aged 0-12 years. With a strong emphasis on providing care for working families, we offer a range of additional services such as a Breakfast Club and After-School Club, making it easier for parents to manage their busy schedules. Curriculum for Each Age Group
At Tŷ Hapus, we understand that children’s developmental needs change as they grow. That’s why our curriculum is tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group, from infants to preschoolers.
Elephants (birth to walking)
Our youngest learners engage in sensory activities that stimulate their vision, hearing, and touch. These include soft textures, sensory lights, and interactive play that promote early development.
Leopards (Walking to 24 months)
In this room, toddlers begin to develop their fine and gross motor skills through climbing, building, and sensory play. Language development is supported with simple stories, rhymes, and everyday conversations.
Panda Room (2 to 3 years)
As toddlers grow into preschoolers, we focus on building their independence and confidence. Activities include more structured play such as pretend play, arts and crafts, and social games that encourage teamwork and sharing.
Koala Room (3 to 5 years)
The preschool room is designed for children who are preparing for school or already attending part time. In this room, we focus on early literacy, early numeracy, and problem-solving through play based learning. We try to incorporate more group projects, and ensure there are plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning play and encourage children's independence to grow. We also encourage role-play and creative arts to help children express their ideas and emotions.
Breakfast Club, After School Club & Holiday Club
We provide a nurturing and active environment for children aged 5 to 12 years at our Parrots Room, located at our Fforestfach (Cwmdu) site. Our club activities allow children to unwind and play in a safe environment, while parents benefit from flexible childcare options.
Breakfast Club:
07:30 AM – 09:00 AM
Children are offered a freshly prepared breakfast to start the day, with the option for school drop-offs to local schools.
After School Club
03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Our after-school club provides a freshly prepared meal, with a wide range of activities to help children relax and have fun after their school day. We also offer school pickups from local schools.
Holiday Club
Full Day Care
During school holidays, our Holiday Flamingos Club offers exciting, engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, and themed events, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to explore, create, and play.
